David Vermeesch, About

David Vermeesch is a brand strategist and creative growth advisor for executive teams. By re-imagining their stories and products from the inside-out, he helps companies and non-profit organizations to thrive during periods of transitional change.

His focus is building measurable value through operational and organizational strategy. This zeros-in on brand stewardship, marketing, creative product innovation, and customer experience management. Typical engagements span three months to three years. He is uniquely qualified for filling transitional roles of Chief Operating Officer, Chief Growth Officer, Chief Experience Officer, or Special Projects.

As CEO, creative director and strategist, David has launched or re-launched noble brands, ideas, products, services, and often, entire organizations. He has led successful initiatives in some of the most complex and distressed business and non-profit environments.

Over 25 years David has helped national and international clients retool, realize new revenue, increase capital appreciation and sustain philanthropic growth. Career notables and favorites include AccuWeather, Americans United for Life, Billy Graham, Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Chuck Colson, First Fruits of Zion, Grainger, Lodgic, Moose International, PowerShares, ServiceMaster, SIM, Taylor University, Tyndale, University of Illinois, US Cellular, Walgreens, Wheaton College, WorldTeam and World Evangelical Alliance.

After 20 years in Chicago, David returned to his native Michigan. From their 1886 farmstead his office studio overlooks the Grand Traverse Bay where he lives and works with his wife and farm critters. David enjoys history, tending the vineyard, kayaking, biblical studies, and restoring old things.
